Florent Hanin built his career far beyond his native Normandy. After developing at Le Havre, the French defender played in Portugal, Greece, Belgium, Norway and Switzerland before returning to France with Paris FC and Angers SCO.
A biography dated October 23, 2026 reports that he signed a one-year deal with Nea Salamis Famagusta in Cyprus in July 2026. It credits him with more than 450 professional appearances and describes a left-footed defender whose strengths include positioning, stamina and crossing.

Development at Le Havre
Born on February 4, 1990, in Harfleur, Hanin joined Le Havre AC’s academy in 2002. He progressed through the youth system and spent three seasons with the reserve team in France’s amateur divisions.
That spell provided the foundation for a senior career that soon took him abroad.
Portugal and His First Overseas Moves
Hanin joined Leixões in May 2011 and played in Portugal’s Segunda Liga before moving to Braga. Loan spells followed at Moreirense and, in Greece, Panetolikos.
He later played for Lierse in Belgium, Strømsgodset in Norway and St. Gallen in Switzerland. The biography singles out his 2015 spell at Strømsgodset, where he helped the club compete near the top of the table.
Regular Football at Belenenses and Vitória
A move to Belenenses in August 2016 brought greater continuity. Hanin became a regular starter at left-back over two Primeira Liga seasons before joining Vitória de Guimarães in 2018.
At Vitória, he gained UEFA Europa League group-stage experience alongside domestic football. The biography records more than 50 appearances for the club and over 100 across his Belenenses and Vitória spells combined.
Returning to France With Paris FC
Hanin returned to France in August 2020, signing for Paris FC in Ligue 2. Over three seasons, he became an established presence on the left flank.
The biography credits him with around 100 competitive appearances during a period that included repeated promotion play-off campaigns.
Promotion With Angers SCO
Hanin joined Angers in July 2023 and helped the club earn promotion to Ligue 1 in the 2023–24 season. He remained with the team after its return to the top flight.
According to the biography, he made more than 85 appearances across league and domestic cup competitions over three seasons. Promotion was the standout team achievement of his Angers spell.
A Reported Move to Cyprus
The biography states that Hanin joined Nea Salamis Famagusta on a one year contract after his Angers agreement expired.
If confirmed, the move would add Cyprus as the seventh country in his senior playing career, extending a route that began in Le Havre’s academy.
